I am going to be setting up a network for a friends business soon. It is going to have one Dell Server (I did not pick this. It is what they wanted because they get some kind of discount). When you guy the server you can get a tabe backup drive for $399 extra. I thought that was kinda pricy. While digging through some stuff at work, I found a brand new unopened Iomega Ditto Max external drive. Would this thing work for doing the backups or is this probably not the best product. There will not be that much data to backup. We will have the server and, to start off 3 desktops and eventually adding more. What do you feel is the best route for the backup process.

its prolly not the best but it should suffice. the best product would prolly be overkill anyways.

i'd prolly try to setup ntbackup.
