Netgear n600 dual band router slow transfer file rate over wifi and hardwired

For some reason as of late I am having problems with transfer rates from my main computer to other computers in my house either over wifi or hard wired. What do u think is the underlying cause? I have not touch any of the settings. PLease help

Try a hard reset and see if the transfer rates improve. Are all the devices on your network are type N or greater?

It was a virus blocking connection and stunting transfer rates. Had to reinstall everything
