I have a windows 98 that I nmapped. Port 139 is wide open.
I tried to nbtstat it in cmd from my windows xp. And since the windows 98 is in my network, I use it's internal address 192.168.0.104
But whenever i go nbtstat -a 192.168.0.104 it always changes and scans my computer which is 192.168.0.102.
Why does it do this? I'm specifying the windows 98 not mine.
How is this happening.
I pinged 192.168.0.104 without difficulty.
When i type in the commands correctly it says.
Local Area Connection:
Node Ipaddress: [192.168.0.102] Scope ID []
And then it shows the tables of my computer.
I have disabled netbios on my windows xp. Would that be the problem? I'm not sure if I really want to enable that for this very reason.
But If I have to enable it for this I will. I'm just wondering if it's screwing with this.
