Need range extender/repeater

I need some kind of device that can extend or receive a weak signal from my friends house. Even though I only live a block from him he can get cable internet and I can't and haven't been able to for some time now. I need a good device to extend his wireless network to my house. I live probably live not 80 meters from his house but there is a little interference because of the house between us that slightly gets in the way. Anything that you can recommend is appreciated.

There are such devices however it sounds like you need a repeater on the street. Unless you can persuade the house in the middle of yall to install a repeater in their house.
