Alright, i moved into an apartment that is old enough to lack ethernet ports. and only for 4 months.

accordingly, my only option was basically CLEAR wire.

i got the stick atlas USB, because my building apparently had great reception from their tower (it doesn't).
i was wondering if there is any 3rd party hardware like antennae, etc. that i can use to boost the signal.

if anyone has any knowledge of how their data allocation thing works, that'd be nice too, as i heard they reserve the right to cut off your internet when you "use too much". (my desire is pretty basic, smooth league of legends/ 2 internet tabs)

If it is impossible, what would you guys recommend i replace the stick atlas with? would one of their hubs or hotspots fair significantly better?

Didn't check that spec on the apartment? xD always inquire about your technological needs before a residential investment! I'd say give the ol' external network card with two big antennae a shot. My friend's got one in his desktop's USB port works like a charm.
