Alright, firstly i'll say this
All these problems started after upgrading from a 3mb to a 6mb line.
This is probably a coincidence but just saying.
I have century link dsl, their modem is the 660 series and and my router is the linksys wrt54gl
Connection keeps timing out when 2-3 people are using the bandwith or while streaming movies.
I updated it to the tomato fw and still same problem.
Now when i try checking the network map it shows our pc's are connecting to a ? unknown then my wireless printer then the internet...is that normal?
Is it not connected right? i've reset this modem/router plenty of times.
I can connect to the router but not the modem.
I tried a direct connection with my pc and everything was working great, it's juts when i make it wireless. I thought it was my router, tired a new wrt54gl, same problem.
will it help if i bridge the connection, if so, how?
Or is it that my router cannot handle all this speed and connections...
the E3000 is on sale for $60, debating if i should get that, sale ends today
This problem has been going on for 2 months...
thanks.

Bridging your connection between what and what exactly? Do you know what speeds your DSL service operates at? If you see a timing out connection, this could be caused by the network traffic attempting to travel from your router and your connection.
