My freinds internet problem..

My friend has SBC Yahoo DSL internet. And he says ever since he got it, every time he gets a phone call and he picks up the phone, he looses his internet. Also he would have random moments where he would lose his internet and not know why. Can anybody tell me what my friend should do?

Didn't he get those little filter thingys to put on the line to prevent that from happening? Or he should call his ISP and complain.

Yeah I remember i helped him replace all of the filters in the house so ill tell him to call SBC. Thanks for the help
