I just intalled a peer to peer network between my laptop and desktop. I used the linksys usb adapter on the desktop and wirless card on the laptop. I use the desktop to dial in to the internet and set up the laptop to also dial the desktop when it connects. When disconnecting from the dial up using the laptop it will disconnect then immediately re dial in. I have the settings in explorer set to never dial a connection. When I diable the network on the desktop I can finally stop the connection. Is there something that I have missed doing. Everything works fine in the network except for this. I am using xp home on the laptop and xp pro on the desktop. I was wondering if there is somthing in xp that will continue to make the laptop dial???
