mercury 802.11g wireless usb adapter help

I hope you can help me. I have a mercury 802.11g wireless usb adapter model kob wl550-c. I have had it installed on my system which is running windows xp with service pack 2. The adapter has stopped working and I have not made any changes to the system. It was working fine and it works fine when I plug it into other machines. The usb ports on the computer it has stopped working on are working fine with other usb products. Do you have any ideas why this has happened.

Go to vendor website to get latest wireless adapter's driver, then install it. Also try to use other USB port to make the connection..the other way is disable/re-enable the adapter.. see whether it works..
