Measure mobile broadband usage

How on a netbook, do I measure my broadband usage on a mobile/cell network?
And none of that used via other methods, i.e. wifi when at home/internet cafes etc., i.e. similar to an app. i have for my android mobile/cell phone.

Unless there is an Desktop Gadget, you will have to contact the Wireless provider to see how you can do it. I have never seen anyway within Windows to have this done without 3rd party software.
