In my shared internet connection with router behind hub. I can share internet with ME computer, whereas main computer is win2k.

I have the same workgroup 'home'
Ip address are different

There is no problem on internet connection on both, but on Win ME computer I can't see itself on it's own net-neighbourhood neither on win2k net-neighbourhood,

help would be much appreceated

You basically have 2 options here.

The first is you can explicitly map the shared drive on your ME machine to your 2k machine and share that way. To do this, in windows explorer, click on tools and map network drive. Assign it a letter then type //computer name/shared drive or folder

The other option is to make a network configuration disc. (One of the unholy parts of ME) I don't exactly remember where this part is, but I believe you get to it by right clicking on your network connection, then on one of the tabs it has the option to make the disc.

I've used the second one and it sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. My suggestion would be to get rid of the ME machine and either upgrade it to XP/2k or downgrade to 98SE.
