I'm getting a cable isp, and I want a low latency wireless router for my computers. I'm into gaming, so I can't have any lag. Is there a particular wireless router you recommend?

thanks in advance, :D

um... there's no such thing as a "low latency router"

all you need is a good connection....

which cable ISP are you getting?

if you're going to game, just go for the lower-latency servers and it's all good...

oh btw, FIOS (IF it's available to you...most people can't get it) >DSL > cable for gaming, but they all work fine

Just get one that is 802.11G compatible as well as a .11G NIC for you computer. .11G is the most popular wireless standard out these days for a reason: speed and range.

As long as you get a good signal strength from your router, it wont be the bottleneck of your internet connection. THe actual ISP and their connection to your house usually is.

from what i've heard, linksys's WR54G or w/e it's called is the best

but i'm happy with my D-link DI-624

Whats a FIOS??? BTW I would NOT recommend the Linksys BEFW11S4, its great for everything. Except gaming. I usually get like 130 ping in BF2... o_0

I have a Netgear and gaming on wireless deson't hurt performance, even with WEP.
