So here is the situation: I have to set up 3 servers, yes 3, for 3 different locations.......and im done! Next, I need a way to have the same documents, (document management) on these servers. That was easy too. Now, the hard part, getting these docs to be locked when someone in Boston is working on it, and someone in the UK decides to work on the same doc. I had tried using DFS, but that uses a "last writer wins" algorithm. That is NOT good. I have also set up MS Sharepoint, it works great, except I need this system to work in an explorer window, not a website....PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help!!! And...ummm..Happy Holidays folks!!! This is also my first post, so be gentle, I am somewhat of a noob I guess.....Thanks in advance.
