Have just emigrated to Vancouver from UK and foolishly gave my laptop to my parents! Have realised I need a large amount of data from the laptop (~10Gb). Is there any way I can access the laptop over the network by just getting them to drop the firewalls? If it's too complicated then I guess I'll get them to copy the data onto DVD, but would be interested to know if it's possible anyway? OS is XP Home Edition.
