I mainly use it for my Palm, and I have a GoToMyPC-like thing on my palm where I can access my computer through it anywhere with WiFi (and my house, upto my driveway).
Since I've reformatted, my Linksys B router barely send any wireless signals. The 'Wireless-B' light just stays soid, never blinks. This is a problem because I can't get my Palm to get on the internet/get my palm's GoToMyPC-like program running/Wireless Winamp for palm running.
The only time it starts working again is when I disconnect the internet cables, plug it back into th Cpu tower, reinstall the Linksys Router (which usually takes 5minutes). Then it starts working, but only for an hour, and it's too time-consuming.
Any ideas? I've tried resetting the router, resetting the modem, restarting the computer, and even doing all-at-once. nothing works except reinstalling, and it's way too time-consuming.

Any ideas on what I can do/software I can DL to make my router send more signals?

Hey Simonthemime,

Try upgrading the firmware on your Router this is the link
to the Linksys Router firmware site.
http://www.linksys.com/download/

They update the firmware quite regularly to fix problems
discovered after the router was shipped.

Also check in the routers DHCP log and look for your
Palm trying to connect with the router. It should look
something like DHCP discover, Authentication Success,
Wireless Device Connected. This will be your best insite
to what is happening with the wireless connection.

Additionally some of the Routers have a Signal Strength
Setting so check it and make sure it's Power is at 100%.

The last thing to check is the drivers for your Palm Wireless
Card used for connecting to your LAN they may need to
be updated so check for any updates.

Hope this helps.
