Hi,

My internet was working fine until yesterday when I changed my linksys router's password. After I changed my password, I enter the password by right clicking to properties under my SSID. After that, it says it's connected, popped up a page that ask you to chose whether it's home, work or public. I chose home. It successfully connect, but the browser isn't working at all. the only thing I can do is to go to the linksys router ip.

My internet comes from the school's internet, not comcast, at& t and etc.
Please help me how to fix this. I have tried unplugging the router, plugging it back in, restarting the computer. The internet is fine because when I was able to have access to the internet using the ethernet cord from the wall jack.

I was thinking after I changed my password, my router and laptop isn't synced anymore.

Below is my ipconfig/all page:

I just noticed I post this thread in the wrong section, but I can't seem to move it.

I have tried ipconfig / renew, still didn't work.

Does your router detect that your computer is connected to it? There's normaly a section in the router's control panel for that.

Also, if you go into your network devices, (I suspect this is wireless?) go to properties, and make sure IPv4 and IPv6 are set to automatic.

How do I check if my router is connected to the computer? Also, I can't seem to find where IPv4 and IPv6 is to set to automatic. I remember I did it before, but I don't remember how to get there. Can you give me a more detailed explanation?

Well, it does have a Gateway..

I just checked, both IPv4 and IPv6 are set to automatic. I currently have internet by connecting the ethernet cord to my laptop from the wall jack, but I don't have internet when I connect it to the router and tried to use wireless.
