Hello I am new to the forum and im currently studying networking in college. At the moment I am doing an assignment but I have hit a wall with certain questions so I hope someone on here can help me as I have limited networking knowledge
1. What device would be necessary to link two networks of identical type? What devices would be necessary to link two networks of dissimilar types?
I would say a network card and HUB for identical type but I do not know if this is correct
2. Describe the parameters governing the choice of cable type for a given network. What are the three main types of cables used in computer networks?
I can answer the second part of this question but not the first
