Hey i am newbie to this forum so please help me as i came with a lot of

Now my problem is that i have two computers one is downstairs in the basement and one is upstairs so i have a D-link router WBR-1310 connected to the modem.....and i have dell wireless adapter connected connected to my upstairs computer now the problem is that i can see my internet connected on the list on my upstairs computer but when i click to connect it says Limited or no connectivity ...........this problem happened after i formatted my downstairs computer and before it was all working well.............so i guess it could be cuz of the ip config settings and routers settings and all dat.......so could u guys please tell me like how can i have my upstairs computer internet working......thanks please reply i would really appreciate that.
