can anyone tell me the extent of what a large companies internet logs look like - work for a large company - sent an anonynmous email via sharpmail from work to person outside of work - person did not find joke funny _ it was not offensive or vulgar i just think he was a bit embarrassed - he suspects me but i have denied - now he says he is printing emails and taking them to my work ors so he says -- if they pull my log will it be obvious that i sent them - thinking that the guy is just bluffing about taking them to my work but then again may not be - what will my log show ?

i'd say the companies prolly not logging all traffic going accross their line. However, they could be logging what sites you visit. So IT prolly wouldnt be able to see the email data, but they could know that you visited the webmail site.
