Anyone know of any good software for doing this? I have a rather complicated home network setup and need to figure out what settings work best for my network... Anyways, the setup is as follows...
Server > 4*1Gbps Links to Switch, they are load balanced
Clients > 1Gbps Link to Switch
Most software I find depends on an HDD cache, or will only allow a SINGLE client to connect to the server, for my needs, I need 5 clients to be able to talk to the server, and everything must stay in RAM... I thought about doing a RAM Disk, but, with the server being ESXi, that wouldn't really work out properly, would it?
So does anyone know of any good throughput tests that can give good accurate results? The server OS that I am testing on is Server 2k12, clients are Win10 and Win7.
