Default LAN Party on this?

HI.

Im just wondering, if I was to host a 4 person LAN, would this router

(its basically this Wireless Broadband Routers: DG834GT)

be able to work? I.E. would we be able to play games with this configuration?

But seriously, plug it in, let DHCP handle it, youre fine. You shouldnt have to configure at all since you arent connecting to the internet and only have four machines. Just put all 4 machines in the four ports (not uplink/WAN) and youre gold.

Routers tend to be more expensive and overkill. A switch with more ports is adequate and will allow more players.
