LAN Messaging

I have a domain set up and i am wanting to know if it is possible for a program to be installed that allows anyoe to send a message over the domain to all of the users logged in. All the machines are on XP Pro. Is there a built in windows function that allows you to do it? I remember a command prompt...but i want some sort of interface...

Good tip csamuels,

Just a quick FYI, net send has a dependancy on the 'messenger' service. Some anti-spyware utilities disable this service as a preventative step.

If you have the 'messenger' service stopped, the net send commands won't work.

good post, thank you, but i was looking for a free application. To send over a domain or workgroup you have to pay.

Well, you can always setup a nice batch file with generic messages and just execute them when needed.. Thats free.. But it can be a bit of a inconvenience.

seem to meet you specifications. I haven't used any of them
