LAN Control

I have a Local Area Network in my house. My computer is cable connected with Comcast High Speed Internet. The other two are wirelessly connected to the router (and my computer) for internet and file/printer sharing.

I would like a program, preferablly free, that'll allow me full control of those computers. I want to monitor and have the ability to take control with the click of the mouse.

What I use is logmein.com for this, however you can only control, not monitor.

Lanschool is what we use at school, it allows you to monitor or control the PC's. However this is terribly insecure (I would never use it)

They used to have a free program. I just went there and they still have a free version, not sure if the features are good in the free version. It is worth a shot.

LanSchool is perfect, even for a home.

It's a 30 day trial, but I'll just uninstall at 29, and reinstall.

How, though, is it insecure?

Anyone with a full copy can control any PC in the network.

Can you force user to enter passwords to connect with that program?
