I've got this D-Link router...

Hello. I've just recently bought a D-Link router. When I connect it to my
cable modem and try to use it, it takes about 3-4 minutes to load a webpage...

Sometimes I doesn't connect at all. Here's some more info on it:

D-Link Dl-514 H/W Vers. B1 - F/W Ver. 1.00

Does anybody know if there's a setting in it that's probably limiting my broadband speed?

It may need a firmware update. Contact customer support and have them walk you through it.
