long time since I posted....

Anyway, is there any legit reason for your ISP to try and force
its way through your firewall?

I could understand if they called and said hey we need ascess
to your computer, but they havent called and one of their techs
has certainly been busy with trying to bypass my firewall.

I am a noob when it comes to this kinda'thing so I thought maybe
someone might shedlight on this activity..

thanks

haha it could be just someone that shares the same ISP with you... since we're talking about ISP's, is it also normal for DoS attacks to be occurring about 4 periods a day, 10 times a period? i know it's DoS season, but that many? AOL, Ameritech, Comcast and more have been caught by my Sygate firewall...!!!!!

I doubt it is just someone using the same ISP, but maybe. Like
I said I am a noob when it comes to this stuff.

But, using VisualRoute I get pretty detailed information about the
computer being used to attempt access to my computer. And it says the computer is in the ISP office and list the techs name using the computer, or again I could be wrong.
