irritating "Dial-up COnnection" popup wont go away

Hello

I have got this annoying "Dial-up Connection" popup which appears on my screen everynow and then (it has got the following connect to options
AOL dialer ( ihave gotten rid of all AOL stuff, dont know what this is still doing on my system)
Orange Pay as you go
Virgin net

when i hit cancel on it, it just appears again, and that to in the middle of the screen.

can you guys tell me how to get rid of it

Have you deleted all AOL entries from your registry and msconfig? Sounds like adware to me. Do some scans and see what you find.

try going to spywareguide.com do there online free scan. you have to click services and youwill see it in the drop down box.

also DL hijackthis or any progs that will show the program like startup list
