This message keeps popping up on my system tray telling me i'm having an ip conflict with another computer on the same network. Then like right after it disconnects me from the internet. So i go into network connections and hit the "repair button" it only fixes it temporarily unfortunatly. Also under "address type" it says "manually configured" that i can remember it wasn't always like this?

Heres what the message looks like :

Post a bigger picture. You might need to set all the computers to automatic and let the router do the IPs.

If you have a static IP on one of the computers, the router might have picked the same IP for another computer, causing the problem. To fix this, either set all computers to thier own unique static IP, or let the router choose one randomly.

first thing, sorry for that small picture, hm, i took from image shack i thought it was going to be bigger lol.

well here it is : ImageShack - Hosting :: problemco7.jpg

Also yeah i want the router to choose the ip, except how can i change from "manually configured " to "automatic configure"

Go into the control panel.

Go in 'Network Connections'

Right click your LAN connection, and choose properties.

A box will come up. Scroll down till you reach Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)

Hit the properties button when Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) is highlighted.

Click the button to obtain an IP address automatically.
