Internet uploading problems

Earlier this morning I encountered a quite bizarre problem with my Internet connectivity. The problem occurs with Facebook private messages. I'm able to send an e-mail, I can watch videos, I can post on people's wall or whatever, but I can't send any private messages in Facebook nor others can send me.

The same problem occurs when I try sending messages with my phone.

I tried restarting the router or even a bit more ignorantly restarting the computer but none of that helped.

I'm not sure whether my problem is understandable but I ran out of options and this is really disturbing. Looking forward to some answers.

You said you can't send msg's from your phone either? Is that cellular Internet you are using?

It sounds like a facebook problem.

The problem somehow already fixed itself, but anyway, on my phone, I was using WIFI provided by the same router and I thought there might be some issues with my Internet connection or something like that.

Anyhow, it's working now and probably yes, I also think it was a facebook bug.
