Yea, the difference between downloading from torrent and browsing the web is that when you browse a web page you only use the bandwidth when you need to load the page, it's not like a constant bandwidth when you're downloading a file. You need to retain that ability, that constant connection when you are downloading from torrent, one little interference can trigger your download to stop. That's why wireless connection are unreliable during these type of bandwidth usage.
