I have a quick question regarding internet speed. I went to download a file from a website on my girlfriends computer, which is connected via a wireless adapter to the internet. I noticed it was downloaded at about 210 kb/s. I went to download the same file through my computer which is also connected to the internet via a wireless adapter. Both the adapters are the same, and the computers are about the same distance from the router. Both the signal strengths are the same as well. However, I am getting a download speed of over 700 kb/s. I am just wondering what could be causing such a drastic difference in download speeds.
