When it happens then log your IP address to see if it changes using the link that I gave above. You probably might need to update the firmware of get a better modem.

No the IP adress does not change, but when i check the routers info page when its drops it just says:


DSL Connect Rate (Down/Up) No DSL Connection.

Like it just totally forgot it was there all of a sudden.

Couldn't find any firmware updates for your modem, but I found this interesting link, someone with this issue. Some people suggested it may be defective and should be replace.

maybe your router has some problems or there are some interferes.

i replaced the dsl filter and it seems to not cut out anymore, thanks guys.

If the internet just crash like that, it has nothing to do with the router as long as you can get on the internet in the first place. You might want to check your phone line which the dsl is connected to. I am assuming you have another phone on the same line. The dsl needs a filter.

Alright i though replacing the DSL filter fixed it, but it hasnt. My internet still drops i checked the router logs and it gave my alot of.
