internet problem

hello guys i got problem with my internet


Internet keeps disconecting or something idk.
So i decided to ping my gateway and after some time it says Request timed out
On "Request timed out" internet stops
Sometimes it also says destination host unreachable

any ideas ?

More information would be appreciated, such as your firewall, OS, wireless or wired, Router or not, brand and model number of router, any other security programs running. Does your router use encryption? If so, what type of encryption?
Also, posting your computer and model number/computer components can never hurt.

I would suggest the router, if one is present then unplug the power from both the router and modem. Wait about one minute and plug both of them back in, plugging the router back in first. Make sure that your computer is off while you do this.

Firewall is off i using windows 7 same problem was on vista.Wired ethernet no security programs clean windows.

Have you called your ISP. Usually they can check or run a diagnostic to see if they modem is okay.
