I installed Vista yesterday. All was well. I had network, internet, etc. I shut off my PC and went to bed. I wake up, and wow..no internet. I have network, but no internet. I have internet on the other six PC's in my house, but not mine.

I thought maybe my router was just being homo, so I unplugged it and the modem and waited a few minutes and plugged it back in...no help.

I can access all of the PC's on my network, but I have no internet. Other PC's can connect to my PC as well.

WTF???!!!

What, does Vista just magically change all its setting while it's off or something?

I'm about ready to snap my keyboard in half. What gives here?!

Apparently Microsoft thinks that everyone with Vista has wireless network, because there is absolutely no option to configure a wired network. When I go to "Connect To Network" nothing is there. I hit "Why is nothing here?" and it says I don't have a wireless device. Is M$ smoking crack here or what?

I'm about to go back to XP.

Any help would be great, thanks.

I guess I fixed it. I did a system restore. Still don't know what caused it...but whatever.
