internet drops when 1 pc connects

I have a network of 13 computers and a dsl connection. When computer 2 connects to the internet, the connection drops. This doesn't happen to other pc's. Before, this pc disconnects our dsl when it connects to a game. But now, it causes disconnection even if it only boots up! Help! Please tell me why and how I should solve this. My computers are using XP, my switch is Dlink which connects to the DSL, and my modem is ZYXEL. Thanks!

This usually occurs when packets collide..perhaps due to a duplex or speed mismatch. Have you tried switching out the NIC on that PC to see if it helps any? Maybe it has the same IP as another on your network..it could be a lot of things.

Check to see if the pc that drops has correct IP (like win2patcher said)
Try changing switch ports.
Plug that pc straight to dsl and test it.
