internet crashed like **** only in this computer!

my portable computer had some problems and fixing was way too expensive so I remove the hard disc and put it to my old computer (not portable)

In my house we use a router to spread the internet so I had to buy a "pen" to recive wireless internet in this computer!

My internet was really great (no lag at all while playing games and never crashed) but in this computer it s lagging all the time and disconnects like every 15-30mins...

The signal I recive here is ok (3/5)

I don't think it s about antivirus or firewalls because the hard disc is the same! Could someone please help me with this problem? What could be wrong?

it's a pain, but try moving the desktop somewhere to see if you can get a better signal.

3/5 isn't the greatest, and would be a cause of your disconnects.

Other things could be to reposition your router, and move other big electronics and cordless phones away from the the router and computer.

You could also change the router channel, in the setup page, to a number on the ends, either 1 or 10.
