I have 2 computers both running XP Pro. One has 2 NICs the other has 1. One is connected to the Interweb, and the other is not.(they are connected with a crossover cable). I have followed all of the Instructions from Microsuck to get them to share the connection but it doesn't work. Help would be cool.
1st computer=
1.2 AMD Duron
PCChips K7 M811 266 MOBO
2 NICs
-1st connection = SBC DSL Shared Internet Connection
- 2nd connection= 192.168.0.1 to the other computer
2nd Computer=
933 Intel P3
HP MOBO
1 NIC
- 192.168.0.3 to the computer with Internet
I'm sure it has something to do with IP address of the second computer being static, but if it's not, then its not connected to the other one.
