Internet Connection Sharing

I have just connected a second PC to share my Internet Connection - no problem
I have a Firewall on my PC & Anti-Virus software, as the second PC has to come through my PC for Internet connection do I also have to install a Firewall and/or Anti-Virus software on the second PC

Anti-Virus......YES!
Firewall......not necessarily. More a matter of personal preference. You may want to try it out.....after all, it can't hurt. What will you be using the second computer for online?

the first pc's firewall should filter out for both comps

i would still get a firewall....it does not block everything especially outgoing traffic....lots of traffic won't be blocked by the firewall because the connection is shared

Just as an added note, make sure that if you install the firewall, make sure that each PC is a member of the others "trusted" zones. If not, there will be trouble ahead.
