Internet connection Problem

I'm having problems with my comcast internet connection
for some reason i can't connect to my comcast internet connection.
I have comcast desktop doctor and it says that i can't connect
to the internet but my Local area connection is connected so
when i open Internet exlorer my internet connection is connected
but it is very slow it takes a while just to load a page.
Can some one help me out whats the problem.
 
Have you contacted them and made sure that you are getting signal to the house?
 
Yes they came they checked the signal and said it was good they
changed my modem and it was doing good after that and then it did the same
thing again.
 
Maybe you got another bad modem? They are not the most perfect things in the world. I have gone thru about 4 or 5 of them already in just over 2 years.
 
Well contact them again and see if they can run a diagnostics again. It is part of their service. I mean these modem are cheap cause they hand them out by the dozens. So it could be just a string of bad luck to get 2 bad ones. I got about 3 bad ones in less than a week. It happens. They don't test them before they send them out. They just give them out and hope for the best.
