in my internet explorer when i got to internet options the place where i put in my home page is faded out i cant change it
what do i do

enter the above into notepad. save as go.reg. run the file

or browse to that key in the registry using regedit and change it to 0

are you using spybot it has an option that can block changing of the hosts file
