how to let my friend share my pc?

Hi, I am new here, need some help.

I have a picture folder on my pc, I don't want to ftp them to my website, instead I want to put a link on my site and make it connect back to my pc, so when people click that link they will come to my pc and see the pictures.

Is this possible? If so please teach me how in details.

Tell you the truth, I don't know.

I use window xp, mediacom cable internet connection.

My ip shared with 3 other computers.
