How do I setup rdesktop?

I am running Fedora 9 on one machine and want to connect to a Windows 2000 machine using rdesktop. How would I go about doing this? I know absolutely nothing about remote desktop. Thank you

as far as i know, you cannot connect to a win2k host with RDC....even from windows

You can but you have to install the RDesktop yourself. As it doesnt come preinstalled on Win2000.

installs client, not host.

i think the op is trying to run a client on linux to connect to a win2k host.
