How can i share my internet using switch?????

i want to share my internet between two or more pc.....
i had 8 port switch....
is t possible with switch if not then wat is alternate solution????

I'm not sure that I have understood this the same way you have.
It just sounds like they just want to know how to connect more than one computer to the internet, not via a single PC using connection sharing, but maybe by using an 8 port switch.

Mitesh1073 could you please describe in more detail the setup and equipment you already have.
what type of internet connection do you have
eg. broadband, cable, dial up, 3g etc.

are you using a modem, dongle, router etc.

are you wanting to connect a switch\hub\router to your existing equipment to allow more computers to the internet

i had broadband connection.
i get internet through modem.
modem has 4 port means we can use it as switch also so now i want to share my internet.
hope all is clear now.....

If the router has 4 ports then you can connect additional computers to the unused ports. You could use 1 of those ports to attach your switch and have that many more available ports.
