Hello, I have a Dell R710 with local RAID 10 storage. I also have a SAN attached to it through iSCSI.
The Dell R710 generates a nightly 500 gigabyte snapshot and stores it on the local C: drive (RAID 10). I want to offload this process to the SAN, but I need to know how much slower the SAN would be (it's configured RAID 5).
Are there any good benchmark tools to achieve this? Thank you,
