they also have beta versions of apache for windows. it might be a bit buggy though. i saw that while browsing download.com .....but since this guy is new to HTTP serving, how is he going to understand how to even setup apache?
I would agree that there is some manualization towards getting the server going. For someone doesn't like to read and preferes more GUI, this is not the app for them.
I was just stating a personal preference to offer more choices.
benignvirus apache is advanced software. if you cannot even figure out where to download it you would never understand how to configure and run it properly. you might be better off with the freewares i mentioned
thank you mighty mouse. what i meant was i didnt want to deal with an ftp server and i just wanted a link to a installer download. This should be enough to get going on my website. Thanks for your comments (although some make me sound stupid).
