My son connects to the internet thru my shared internet connection.

His connection used to say 100mbps, and he could play his games great.

Now it says 1.0gbps and he cant play....what do I need to do to fix this.

I updated the bios on my mobo and that is when this started.

Help....lol

Yes 1GBPS is faster. It jsut showign that they updated from to a GB network. Which means they reset the modem. That would be the easiest way to solve this issue. Many times with a update like that a update to the NIC card will require a reset of the modem or router or both.

The modem and internet service becomes the bottleneck.
