[Help] Wireless Problem, get this...

I've got a laptop with a intergrated wireless card inside (Broadcom 54g MaxPerformance 802.11g) and a wireless router
D-Link DI 524. Now the router works fine, when I'm connected through ethernet I'm able to browse the web, edit router settings etc... BUT once I unplug the cable start up the wireless, it says I'm connected and the signal is excellent and I'm sending packets but not receiving. At that point I cannot surf the net nor can I even go edit settings on my router.

So my question is what the hell is wrong?!? Oh and I also tried wardriving and I couldn't connect to anyone elses network... well actually it SAYS I'm connected but in reality I'm not at all.

is your router compatible with your card?
might be a conflict there

obviously, its connecting... the computer and the router connect... i just cant do anything

found the problem, windows xp hotfix.... it adds wpa support to my wireless card.

I am having this exact same problem, and I have the exact same setup as mikew.

Can anoybody help me??
