Help on identifying a device model by its MAC address

Hello,
As part of my university studies, I conduct a market research about hardware distribution, based on a MAC address's DB which was deliverd to me.
Unfortunatley, a preliminary research on the MAC addresses, didn't provide any other details than the device manufacturer, which I found at the OUI table.
I would be grateful if anybody could provide me a method to gather more information about a hardware, based on its MAC address.

Can't identify a device on just the MAC address alone.
If you have the hardware Ids like:
PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8168&SUBSYS_75221462&REV_02
then you can identify the device

You can identify the manufacturer of the network device through the MAC, but not the system information.
MAC Address and OUI Lookup - Find the Company that manufactured the network card. Also, find which MAC addresses are owned by a company.

You'll need to go another route to identify anymore info about the system's hardware, such as PowerShell scripting if you have a list of all system's network names or IP's and you have the proper network permissions to access systems over the network.

What kind of information are you looking for? You can use ARP to find a MAC's corresponding IP address and vice versa, but I can't think of any additional info that you could find out about the physical hardware.
