you all prolly heard this before, but i need to transfer a movie from desktop to laptop. i have a CAT6 RJ-45 crossover cable. i connect it to both ethernet ports and follow the "create new network" tutorial like the guy at Geek Squad told me too. he said i would have to create ips for the setup, but i cant get past the point where it asks me(on my desktop) whether this is the host or guest computer. i click "host" and a window pops up saying "Incoming connections depend on the routing and remote access which was unable to start. for more info, check the system event log." what does this mean and/or how do i transfer this data?
