This forum needs a READ FIRST thread

I know I am a very new member to the forum, and I try to offer my assistance as best as I can.

I have seen numberous posts in the month that I have been here where the people reporting the problems are providing little if any information at all about the details about their problem. It would be nice to have a thread sticky'd (important on this forum I guess) that would have a list of things to include in a post when asking for assistance.

Would even be nice to have something shoing people how to find out the IP Address on their machine, and renew the DCHP IP address, or how to put a static IP address on a PC.

I will write a guide for how to assign yourself a static IP on saturday

And I have batch files to release and renew IP's

I myself have had some problems and offered help. I think a "read me first" post is a great idea to avoid a lot of headaches.
