Hi,

I am using a Comsol USB2.0 Flash memory drive. I am having problems using it on a network as the drive defaults to either E: or D: drive depending on the PC it is used on (E: and D: are local network drives), hence, i cant access the network drives when using the flash drive.

Is there any way to specify/map the drive letter that the flash memory stick uses?
Running windows xp.

thanks

Hmmm, that's really strange. I'm set up here on a Novell client network and mine just maps to the lowest unused drive mapping. Maybe it has something to do with the Comsol brand.

Anyway, if you're looking to assign it a specific drive mapping, you'd probably have to install the drivers instead of using the auto detect feature that makes these things soo nice.

You could always change the drive letters that your network drives (shares) are mapped to...
